Our time together for November’s Sound Journey, is a mending and blending of realities – one in which we are invited to deeply root our energy centers, as we enter the holiday season and hold sacred space for winter’s call to honor and integrate stillness. Surrounded by a creative cauldron of art and sound, we journey together to sow new seeds of possibility. Infused by the melodic, shamanic qualities of the handpan, ngoni & frame drum, each sound, becomes an invitation to remember who and what we are.

This sound immersion is interwoven with dreamlike, ancestral vocalizations & lullabies, alongside an assortment of instruments including gongs, the shruti box, bowls, chimes and percussive elementals. Inspired by the natural world – the 5 elements of Air, Wind, Water, Fire & Aether – we will oscillate between stillness and sound to travel through the peaks & valleys of our unique inner world to access rest & release … more deeply integrating balance & harmony within.

Sarah Paz Hyde is based in Ellicott City, MD and travels across the country promoting handpan magic. She is the founder of the Super Bloom Collective, a community hub centered around organizing handpan gatherings across the country.
